Gaami is Vishwak Sen's latest film, which is now streaming on Zee 5 since April 12, 2024. The fantasy drama was one of the most-awaited OTT releases, and now that is out, there are various reactions to the film. But the most common complaint about the film is that it is too slow.
On the other hand, one of the biggest selling points of the film is the climax. Gaami showcases three parallel stories of an Aghora, played by Vishwak Sen. Then, there is a young man who is trying to come out of prison, and the third story is about a small girl who is forced to turn into a sex worker. All these stories have a link and this has been showcased in a solid manner.
All those who missed the film in the theatres have started watching it on Zee 5 and are speaking largely about this special twist in the climax. Vidyadhar Kagita directed this film, and his narration has won the hearts of many. The visuals and BGM, in particular, have received a lot of praise.

Ever since Gaami started streaming on Zee, Vishwak Sen has also been trending. He is being lauded for backing a film that does not have any commercial elements and has less screen space for the actor. Despite all this, Vishwak Sen agreed to do the film, and he did not charge a single rupee. The news is that the young hero took a share in the profits.
Made on a budget of Rs 2 crore, Gaami made Rs 13 crore from its theatrical run. Zee 5 also spent a decent amount on the OTT rights to the film. Not many know, but Gaami has been in the making for six years now. It started as a crowd-funding project, and later on, it was picked up by a team of young producers. The director spent days on the post-production of the film as he ran out of budget.
But the makers and Vishwak Sen, put in their own money, wrapped up the project and released it with table profit. The word is also that director Vidhyadhar Kagita is also planning to remake the film in Hindi. An official confirmation will be made soon.
