Fukrey 3 box office report day 4: Pankaj Tripathi, Richa Chadha, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh's film crosses Rs. 40 crore mark on first Sunday

The third instalment in the hit Fukrey franchise is set to achieve the Rs. 50 crore milestone today, on a national holiday.

Fukrey 3 kicked into high gear on its first Sunday. The four-day collection has gone up to Rs. 43.48 crore, which means on October 2, that is, on its fifth day, the film will definitely cross the Rs. 50 crore mark. The audience has praised the Mrigdeep Singh Lamba-directed film, and the franchise as a whole is popular with the general public. Fukrey 3 stars Pankaj Tripathi, Richa Chadha, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, and Manjot Singh in the lead roles.

Impressive surge:

While sharing the box office collections, trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted on X, "Fukrey 3 goes on an overdrive on Day 4 [Sunday]... The day-wise growth reiterates the fact that the third instalment in the #Fukrey series has also found acceptance. Eyes Rs. 55 crore to Rs. 60 crore extended weekend, which is phenomenal... Thursday: Rs. 8.82 crore; Friday: Rs. 7.81 crore; Saturday: Rs. 11.67 crore; and Sunday: Rs. 15.18 crore. Total: Rs. 43.48 crore. (sic)"

Meanwhile, as per Box Office India, on Sunday, Fukrey 3 earned over Rs. 15 crore nett, bringing its four-day total to Rs. 42 crore nett. This national holiday will guarantee another healthy double-digit collection on Monday, after the film recorded a 40% increase on Sunday as collections in the evening and night shows were high.

The film has been a great success in Delhi and UP, with Sunday's statistics surpassing Rs. 5 crore nett and a massive Rs. 15 crore nett in just four days. The success of Dream Girl 2 can be attributed to the same circuit. It appears that Fukrey 3 is doing better in East Punjab than Dream Girl 2, while Central Belt and the others are underperforming.

What happens on Tuesday is pretty much all that matters now, but if the film continues to do well on Monday, it should easily surpass the Rs. 78 crore that Fukrey Returns made.
