Vishnu Vishal made his acting debut with Suseenthiran directorial Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu in 2009
Actor Vishnu Vishal, who has been mesmerising his audience with several films, has taken to his social media handles to share a special note. The actor’s debut 2009 sports comedy film Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu completed 15 years today. To commemorate his 15th year in cinema, the actor penned a note for his fans thanking them for being his well-wishers.
The actor reminisced his journey from starting out his journey in the industry with a sports film to now working on another sports film (Lal Salaam), 15 years later, as a ‘rollercoaster ride’. The actor wrote, “It has been fifteen years in the industry since my first film 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu' released and looking back, it has been a rollercoaster journey and what a journey it has been which I'm very proud of. At this moment, I am extremely grateful to my director Suseenthiran for giving me a great start to my career.”

The actor also added that amongst the 20 films that he has done over a career spanning 15 years, half of the films have been wholeheartedly loved by the audience.
Thanking the Tamil audience for the ‘extensive support’, the actor revealed his excitement over sharing screen space with ‘his superstar’ Rajinikanth in his upcoming sports drama Lal Salaam. “The 15th year is extra special, I have 'Lal Salaam' where I am sharing the screen with THE one and only Superstar Rajinikanth', a man who is the biggest and best of our country. I feel that my journey is peaking at the right moment and in the right direction”, the actor wrote.
The actor also shared pics with director Suseenthiran at a special screening of the film.

Vishnu Vishal’s upcoming film Lal Salaam will also have Vikranth playing the lead role. Superstar Rajinikanth will be seen in a cameo appearance as Moideen Bhai. Apart from the lead cast, the film will also feature Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, KS Ravikumar, Thambi Ramaiah, Nirosha, Vivek Prasanna, Dhanya Balakrishna, in supporting roles. Legendary cricket player Kapil Dev will also be seen in a cameo role. Lal Salaam, which is bankrolled by Lyca Productions, will hit the theatres on February 9.
