From Sree Ranga Neethulu to Geethanjali Malli Vacchindi, four films with popular names in lead roles were released on April 12, 2024. But sadly, none of them clicked at the box office.

Friday releases on April 12, 2024

Every week, there are multiple films being released in Telugu but only a few click at the box office. Last week, on Friday, April 12, 2024, a number of Telugu films such as Sree Ranga Neethulu, Geethanjali Malli Vacchindi, Dear, and Love Guru, were released at the Telugu box office.

Geethanjali Malli Vacchindi box office collections update

As per the latest update, none of the films impressed the audience at the box office. Geethanjali Malli Vacchindi, written by Kona Venkat, was the biggest release featuring Anjali. The reviews of the film were dull, and the same trend showed in the occupancy of the horror thriller.

Geethanjali Malli Vacchindi was the sequel of the Geethanjali, which was a big hit at the box office. Sadly, the sequel failed to generate any numbers at the box office. Next in line was Sree Ranga Neethulu, which had Suhas, Ruhani Sharma, and Karthik Rathnam as the leads. As the promotions of the film were so low key not many even knew such a film was released in the first place. Sree Ranga Neethulu has ended as a massive flop at the box office.

Love Guru and DeAR Telugu versions box office collection

On the other hand, Love Guru is a Tamil-dubbed film, featuring Vijay Antony. Though word of mouth was good, it did not transform into proper occupancy, and the film is struggling at the box office. Last but not least, DeAR, featuring Aishwarya Rajesh, was also released on the same day and also sank at the box office. The film has absolutely no takers in Telugu states.

Last week's releases, Family Star and Manjummel Boys, started on a decent note but failed to register any good numbers at the box office. The other Hindi releases, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan have also failed to register any openings at the box office, leaving the theatres dull this weekend.
