Acting seems to come naturally to many social media influencers, considering that a big part of becoming an influencer is often posting videos. One obviously needs to have good screen presence and acting chops to be able to captivate an audience online. So, acting in films and web series seems to be a natural transition for social media influencers.

The past few years have seen popular names online like Dolly Singh, Prajakta Koli, Shirley Sethia, Mithila Palkar, Sahil Khattar, and Bhuvan Bam star in films. Others like Kusha Kapila, Srishti Dixit, and Yuvraj Menda are all set to join the crop of content creators-turned-actors with their impending film releases.

Here’s a look at some influencers who are all set to make their Bollywood debuts. Along with a look at some of them who have impressed us with their acting talent in films in the past.

Kusha Kapila: Sukhee and Thank You For Coming
Popular digital content creator Kusha Kapila stars alongside fellow content creators Dolly Singh, Shibani Bedi, and Prashasti Singh in the Bhumi Pednekar-starrer comedy film Thank You For Coming. The film is set to be released in theatres on October 6. Before that film, she will also be seen in Shilpa Shetty’s Sukhee. The slice-of-life film is slated to be released on September 22. She has earlier acted in films like Selfiee and Plan A Plan B.

Srishti Dixit: The Great Indian Family
Srishti Dixit is among the most popular early content creators in India. Known for her entertaining videos on Instagram, Srishti has starred in the series Staffroom and Unreal. But the Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chhillar-starrer The Great Indian Family which is produced by Yash Raj Films, is her big Bollywood debut. Srishti plays Vicky’s sister in the film. Her film will be competing with Kusha Kapila’s Sukhee at the box office on September 22.

Yuvraj Menda: The Archies
Fashion influencer Yuvraj Menda is gearing up for his big acting debut. After winning over netizens with his videos online, he was roped in to play Dilton Doiley, a nerdy teenager who is a part of Archie's gang of friends, in Zoya Akhtar's eagerly awaited Netflix film, The Archies.

Prashasti Singh: Thank You For Coming
After doing a bunch of series and miniseries, it’s Bollywood calling for comic and influencer Prashasti Singh. Prashasti is among the leading ladies of Thank You For Coming, which is set to be released in theatres on October 6. It will be interesting to watch Bhumi Pednekar along with talented and funny content creators in this comedy film.

Dolly Singh: Thank You For Coming
You can’t be on social media and not know about Dolly Singh. The talented content creator has been the face of ads, films, and series like Bhaag Beanie Bhaag, Modern Love, and Feels Like Home. She will next be seen on the big screen in Thank You For Coming, in which she shares space with four other talented women.

Shibani Bedi: Thank You For Coming
Shibani Bedi is another popular social media influencer and content creator who has been a part of several big Hindi films, such as Bharat, Rang De Basanti, and No One Killed Jessica. She will next be seen in Rhea Kapoor’s film Thank You For Coming alongside fellow content creators Kusha Kapila and Dolly Singh.
