Telugu film lovers are in for a feast both at the theatres and on streaming platforms
There's a reason why Telugu cinema is hailed as one of the most prolific film industries in India. Not only are the maximum number of films in the country produced here, but there's ample variety on offer for all kinds of viewers in terms of content. This weekend, there are as many as five Telugu films that are getting ready to entertain audiences both at the theatres and OTT platforms. We take you through this list.
Theatrical releases
Khiladi
Khiladi, written and directed by Ramesh Varma, features Ravi Teja Teja in a dual role and has Meenakshi Chaudhary, Dimple Hayathi playing the female leads. Produced by Pen Movies and A Studios LLP, the movie also stars Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan, Nikitin Dheer, Vennela Kishore and Rao Ramesh among others. The music by Devi Sri Prasad has ensured good buzz for the film ahead of its release.

Sehari
Sehari, starring first-time actor Harsh Kanumilli, Simran Choudhary in the lead, is directed by debutant Gnanasagar Dwaraka. Written by the male lead Harsh Kanumilli himself, the film also features Abhinav Gomatam, Praneeth Reddy, Anisha Alla, Akshitha Harish, Koti, Balakrishna in key roles. Advaya Jishnu Reddy is bankrolling the film under Virgo Pictures.

DJ Tillu
The film, starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Neha Shetty in the lead roles, is a full-on entertainer, directed by debutant Vimal Krishna. The film is being produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The film has music by Sri Charan Pakala and Ram Miriyala and background score by S Thaman. It is co-written by Vimal Krishna and Siddhu. Directed by Vimal Krishna

Bhama Kalapam
Bhama Kalapam, a thriller comedy helmed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti, marks the Telugu OTT debut of Priyamani and also features John Vijay, Pammi Sai, Shanti Rao and Sharanya Pradeep in key roles. Dear Comdrade filmmaker Bharat Kamma is its showrunner. Produced by Sudheer Edara and Bogavalli Bapineedu of SVCC Digital, Justin Prabhakaran is its composer.

Hero
The launchpad of Ashok Galla, featuring Nidhhi Agerwal as the female lead is directed by Sriram Adittya, who has also penned the story and screenplay. Jagapathi Babu, Naresh, Sathya, Brahmaji, Ravi Kishan and Vennela Kishore form the supporting cast of the film which has music by Ghibran. Kalyan Shankar and AR Tagore have written the dialogues. The technical crew includes editor Prawin Pudi, art director A Ramanjaneyulu.
