We had told you the trailer and audio launch of Legend Saravanan's film, The Legend, would be held today (on May 29), in a grand manner, at the multi-purpose Jawaharlal Nehru indoor stadium (where the Vikram audio launch took place), in the evening. The businessman-turned-actor has pulled off a major coup by roping in 10 female actors for the event.
Those who will be a part of the Legend audio launch include Tamannaah, Pooja Hegde of Beast-fame, Hansika Motwani, and Shraddha Srinath of Vikram Vedha-fame, Yashika Aannand, Nupur Sanon, Sreeleela and Telugu actor, Dimple Hayathi.
Also, the evening will see the participation of the film's female lead, Bollywood actor Urvashi Rautela (who attended the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival 2022), besides, Raai Laxmi, known for films like Neeya 2 and Sowkarpettai.
In addition to these big names, the event is expected to witness the presence of many celebrities. According to sources, the audio launch will feature live dance performances, too.
Starring entrepreneur Saravanan in the lead, The Legend, touted to be a sci-fi, is directed by JD-Jerry. The director duo made their debut with the 1999 Ajith-starrer, Ullasam. And, their last directorial venture was Whistle. (The film featured Sherin and Gayathri Raghuram, in key roles.)
Supporting cast of The Legend includes Geethika, Prabhu, late Vivek, Vijayakumar, Kovai Sarala, Latha, Mayilsamy, Kaali Venkat, Thambi Ramaiah, Yogi Babu and Nasser. Shot extensively in Chennai, Pollachi, and Himalayas, besides a few other foreign locations, The Legend has cinematography by Velraj and editing by Ruben.
Saravanan was in the headlines recently, as the single from the film was out. Titled Mosalo Mosalu, the number marked the comeback of Harris Jayaraj, after a brief hiatus of three years. The song has lyrics by Pa Vijay.
A report published by Cinema Express states, this one was supposed to be the intro song for Saravanan, which features him along with a large number of dancers, in the backdrop of a festival.
The Legend is planned to be out in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam. However, we don’t know the release date yet.
Bankrolled by Saravanan himself, the film has art direction by SS Moorthy, and the dialogues are written by Pattukottai Prabhakar.
