Friendship sneak peek: Arjun gets into action mode, takes down the baddies

The makers of Friendship had earlier announced that the movie will hit the screens on September 17. They had also released its trailer a week ago. Starring Harbhan Singh, Arjun, Sathish and Losliya in important roles, the movie also has MS Bhaskar, Badava Gopi, Jeeva Ravi and J Sathish Kumar, too, essaying notable roles in it.

The film, directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya, which is inspired from Malayalam movie, Queen has Bigg Boss Tamil fame Losliya making her acting debut, too. The team has now come up with a seven-minute sneak peek which was released by Vijay Sethupathi. The versatile actor, who expressed happiness for unveiling the same, was all praise for the film's team.

The sneak peek begins with a girl getting down from a private bus at night in Pollachi amidst heavy rain. As she walks to the other side of the road, the girl is hit by a car which has a bunch of criminals in it. It is followed by a scene in which an old man approaches Arjun, requesting him to help him. Later, the actor is seen bashing up a few baddies in a gym. The two scenes featuring Arjun do not let out much information about his character. The makers had earlier mentioned that the star's character will have ample suspense factor to it.

The last sequence in the sneak peek has Harbhajan Singh and Sathish stepping out of a police van which is parked on the Coimbatore district court premises. The place witnesses chaos as people gathered there turn violent and start pelting stones at them. Fans of Losliya, who expected a glimpse of her in the sneak peek, expressed disappointment in the comment section, though they shared their excitement of the movie releasing in a few days.
