Netflix has released the first look of Never Have I Ever Season 2 and fans of the show couldn't be more thrilled. The stills from the show also reveal that rapper and actor Common will join the cast as Dr. Chris Jackson, a suave and debonair dermatologist who happens to be Nalini’s (Poorna Jagannathan) colleague.
The hit series is expected to drop in July 2021, though an exact release date is yet to be announced. Never Have I Ever is a coming-of-age comedy series created by executive producer Mindy Kaling, with Lang Fisher serving as executive producer, showrunner and writer.
The show's first season starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi Vishwakumar left viewers in a cliffhanger, with many questions unanswered. Fans wigged out when Devi kissed her annoying classmate Ben Gross (Jaren Lewison). But the series also left some of us hopeful since it folded with the show's star and Devi's ultimate crush Paxton (Darren Barnet) waiting at her doorstep.
Like everyone else, we can't wait to find out about the romantic turns to take place in Devi's life and if her cousin Kamala will actually get married this season.
