Fighter worldwide box office - Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone's film rebounds on Day 10, inches closer to THIS milestone

The Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan's aerial action film Fighter saw an upward trend on Saturday. On day 10, the movie brought in ₹15.19 crore worldwide as it went into its second week, according to reports. The movie is doing better overseas than in India.

Film Trade Insider reports that Fighter has made ₹287.7 crore worldwide now, inching closer to the ₹300-crore mark. Fighter made ₹34.04 crore at the international box office in its premiere. Over the next three days, it performed better, earning ₹64.57 crore on the second day, ₹56.19 crore on the third, and ₹52.74 crore on the fourth. On the next day, Fighter experienced a sharp and unexpected decline, earning a mere ₹16.33 crore day 5.

Day 6 saw little improvement with ₹14.49 crore in earnings, and Days 7 and 8 had even lower totals of ₹11.7 crore and ₹10.24 crore, respectively. Fighter recorded single digits on Friday, day 9, and made ₹9.75 crore in gross revenue. After two Saturdays, the movie returned to double digits.

Fighter domestic box office report

Fighter, which is directed by Siddharth Anand, saw a huge surge at the domestic box office on Saturday following weeks of lackluster performance. The aerial action movie, which also stars Anil Kapoor, reportedly made an estimated ₹10.5 crore nett in India on Day 10, according to a report by Sacnilk.com.

Fighter has now raised its India total to almost ₹162.75 crore nett, according to the portal. On day nine, it had earned ₹5.75 crore nett. Fighter reached ₹39.5 crore nett in India on its first Friday, January 25, after debuting at ₹22.5 crore. Then, on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, the fighter made ₹27.5 crore nett, ₹29 crore nett, ₹8 crore nett, ₹7.5 crore nett, and ₹6.5 crore nett.

What's Fighter about?

Along with other members of their elite Indian Air Force (IAF) unit, the Air Dragons, Squadron Leaders Shamsher Pathania (Hrithik Roshan), Minal Rathore (Deepika Padukone), and Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh (Anil Kapoor) sacrifice all for the country. The majority of the movie was filmed in Indian air bases using actual Sukhoi fighter aircraft. In addition to Deepika, Hrithik, and Anil, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi are also featured in Fighter.
