With Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone coming together for the first time, Fighter has emerged as one of the most anticipated films of 2024. Since the launch of the official teaser, character posters, and the first song, 'Sher Khul Gaye' have already created a lot of buzz.

Fighter which has hit screens today is an aerial action movie that is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Marflix Pictures in association with Viacom18 Studios. After the film's theatrical run, the film will be available on streaming giant Netflix. The film promises to be a visual extravaganza with its thrilling action scenes and stellar ensemble cast. Fighter's additional tracks and trailer were well received by fans thanks to the action and patriotic sequences.

Fighter will see Hrithik donning the avatar of Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, aka Patty, while Deepika Padukone will be seen as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore. Anil Kapoor, on the other hand, will play Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, aka Rocky.

Fighter on OTT

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, Fighter is expected to enjoy a good theatrical release as it is also the first big release of the year 2024. However, after its theatrical run, the film will premiere on a streaming platform. And we've got details about the same. Days after the release, the movie will have an OTT release on Netflix. While the date and time of the OTT release are yet to be out, the OTT platform has been finalised.

Fighter is being billed as the first action movie set to be reelased in India. Deepika previously starred with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in Pathaan. This is her second movie with director Siddharth Anand. The film is also Deepika and Hrithik Roshan's first on-screen collaboration. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Sanjeeda Shaikh.

Fighter will be released on January 26, 2024.
