The story of the movie revolves around the Indian Air Forces' Balakot attack, which occurred close to the town of Balakot in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The primary objective of this counterattack was the alleged headquarters of the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). Nearly 40 CRPF soldiers lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, prompting the military action.
Made on a budget of Rs 250 crore, Fighter is directed by Siddharth Anand.
