Telugu star Nani is busy promoting his upcoming movie Hi Nanna. He was recently in Bengaluru as part of a promotional tour and he took the opportunity to pay a visit to Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar.

On Wednesday, Nani tweeted a photo of himself and Shivarajkumar in a tight embrace, with the caption, "Felt at home shivanna. Thank you."

"He (Shivanna) is the youngest superstar. I saw some reels where he's dancing at a college function. I will be tired if I dance like that. He spreads his energy and positivity to the film industries across the country. And I want to thank Shivanna for inviting me home today and me getting to spend that quality time with him," Nani said during a press conference in Bengaluru.

Shivarajkumar has been a top star in the Kannada film industry since the late 1980s. However, in recent years, he has developed a penchant for expanding his cinematic horizon by taking up acting offers in films of other languages. Recently, his popularity hit a new height across the country, courtesy of his cameo in Superstar Rajinikanth's latest film Jailer.

In the meantime, Nani is very optimistic about the potential of Hi Nanna to resonate with a wider audience. He claimed that this film speaks a "universal language" and that every aspect of the film will connect with the audience.

Hi Nanna is a family drama, which is written and directed by Shouryuv. It stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead and is due in cinemas on December 7.
