Fawad Khan reflects on his enduring friendship with Ranbir Kapoor and the Kapoor family.
Though his filmography is relatively small, Fawad Khan made a big impression on Bollywood. The Pakistani actor recently discussed Ranbir Kapoor and his friendship on the set of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Because of his close friendship with the Kapoors, Khan said in an interview with Pinkvilla that he maintains contact with Kapoor.
When asked if he keeps in touch with RK, Khan replied, "On and off." He has maintained contact with the Kapoor family and has enjoyed a cordial connection with them thanks to their occasional phone conversations and chats. Even with Karan Johar and Shakun Batra, there is still a tremendous deal of respect and love. Aside from casual acquaintances, Khan maintains communication with a few producers he has worked with and occasionally arranges to meet up with them. Thus, they converse occasionally. There is no resentment or animosity between them; they remain in regular contact and are still extremely amicable.

Khan first appeared in Bollywood in Khoobsurat co-starring Sonam Kapoor and directed by Shashanka Ghosh. Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shakun Batra's Kapoor and Sons were his subsequent films. ADHM included Ranbir, Anushka Sharma, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as crucial characters, in contrast to Kapoor and Sons, which featured Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Rishi Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, and Ratna Pathak Shah. Fawad co-starred with Ranbir in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, playing Anushka's husband.
On July 19, ZEE5 (OTTplay Premium) and Zindagi's YouTube channel will debut Khan's new series, Barzakh. Sanam Saeed Salman Shahid, and Syed Arham also play the lead roles in the Asim Abbasi-directed series.
Talking about the series, the actor told the entertainment portal that prior to the performance, they meticulously planned everything. Through discussions and readings, they developed their approach to the character. Specifically, his character, Shehryar, is a psychiatrist who is mentally unstable and may benefit from therapy. It was deeply upsetting on many levels, yet the character was so multi-faceted that the reading provided many explanations.
