Fateh on OTT: When, where to watch Sonu Sood’s John Wick-styled actioner after its theatrical run

While Shankar’s Game Changer and Vikramaditya Motwane’s series Black Warrant were up for release, there was also Sonu Sood’s directorial debut, also starring him in the lead, set to hit the big screen. The movie, which is a John Wick-styled action drama, has been in the headlines for a while due to the gore and action it brings. The buzz around the movie has been decent, and so has the reception until the first day afternoon. But there is, of course, curiosity to know where the movie lands on streaming once it has ended its theatrical run. Well, we’ve got you covered. Fateh for the uninitiated, is directed and co-written by Sonu Sood, who stars as the titular hero in the movie. Taking cues from action franchises like John Wick and blending it into the Animal milieu, the movie is about a man going against a cybercriminal syndicate that is targeting the entire nation and planning to put its people and safety at risk. The movie follows him as he takes all the violent routes to reach the top of the game, making it one of the most gory films in recent times.

Now, for the fans who might not get a chance to watch the Sonu Sood starrer on the big screen, the makers have already confirmed where the movie will drop once it ends its theatrical run. Fateh will stream on Disney+ Hotstar. There is no clarity on when, but it all depends on the box office performance of the movie. Traditionally, a 90-day window is a must, but there have been many exceptions.

Against the backdrop of a vast cybercrime conspiracy, Fateh features Sood as a former special ops officer navigating a digital battlefield. Produced by Sonali Sood of Shakti Sagar Productions, Umesh KR Bansal of Zee Studios, and co-produced by Ajay Dhama, Fateh is a gripping tale of courage, resilience, and the fight against cybercrime. It is slated to release on January 10, 2025.
