Fasal: Singer-actress Sehnoor’s new web series focuses on rural rural womenfolk

Singer-actress Sehnoor - who has previously appeared in Bhojpuri web series Prapanch and in the music video Badan Pe Sitare alongside Asim Riaz - is now gearing up for her new web series Fasal which she is producing.

The poster of the web series was recently launched at an event in Chandigarh. Fasal is written by Taj and directed by Mehraaj Singh, while the cast includes actors Divjot Kaur, Chandandeep Gill, Shweta Sharma and Ashish Duggal.

The shooting of the series started immediately after its poster launch. Speaking about Fasal Sehnoor said, “We aim to offer a fresh perspective on storytelling, tackling relevant themes and exploring the intricacies of women-centric content. I always wanted to work on a story that deals with the problems that women face in their life. And through Fasal, we have tried to make a story that will entertain the audience as well as deliver a strong message that will surely leave an impression on everyone’s heart. I am very happy that finally Fasal is going on the floor. We had a great poster launch and now we have started shooting. I couldn’t be happier than this. Fasal is my baby, and I am looking forward to bringing out a complete masterpiece for the audience.”

Specific plot details are still kept under wraps. However, the poster suggests that it’s going to be a narrative that will throw light on the complexities of agriculture and rural life. Fasal thus, promises to provide thought-provoking content that resonates with a wide range of viewers.
