Besides being a filmmaker, he is also an artist, a singer, musician, lyricist, film producer… The list is practically endless. We are indeed talking about Farhan Akhtar. The last few days were seemingly very hectic for the filmmaker because of the work scheduling of his most talked and most awaited film Don 3.
Farhan Akhtar is now all set to start wokring on his next film!
Even though Don 3 has not yet gone on floors, Farahan Akhtar is now all set to start working on his next film! The film is Operation Trident, a film which happens to be based on the Indian Navy and its prestigious daredevil incessant work which was carried out during the unforgettable 1971 Indo Pak War.

'Excel Entertainment in collaboration with Sunshine Digimedia presents Operation Trident’
The film’s announcement was made by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment on social media. They posted a bunch of photographs of Ritesh Sidhwani with the decorated officers of the Indian Navy. The post was captioned stating, ‘Excel Entertainment in collaboration with Sunshine Digimedia presents Operation Trident’.
‘The film is based on the #IndianNavy’s daring attack during the #1971IndoPakWar. The saga of the historic triumph will inspire generations to come. The announcement of the project was held at Nausena Bhavan #NewDelhi, in presence of Adm R Hari Kumar #CNS, Ritesh Sidhwani (Producer, Excel Entertainment), Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani (Co-Producers, Excel Entertainment), Abhinav Shukla (Producer, Sunshine Digimedia) Priyanka Belorkar (Co-Producer, Sunshine Digimedia)’. The film has been based on an exemplary display of seamless daredevilry by the Indian Navy during the attacks which took place during the 1971 India-Pakistan War.

All the other details regarding the film have been kept under the wraps. Besides Operation Trident, Farhan Akhtar is busy with the upcoming Don 3. Speaking of Don 3, the film stars Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani. As per a previous news report in Pinkvilla, it was reported that, Ranveer Singh will be starting to work on the film Don 3, immediately after he wraps up the shooting of Rohit Shetty’s 'Singham Again’, which also stars Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor.
