Farhad Samji finally speaks up on title changes before finalizing on Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan

Farhad Samji has finally spoken about the title changes before he finalized on Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The movie starring Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles was announced as Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. Later, the movie was touted to be changed to Bhaijaan after which Salman announced that his upcoming Eid release is titled Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

In a recent interview with DNA, Farhad said that there were never five-six titles for the movie. He claims that fans came up with many of the titles to create the hype.

Farhad refused to acknowledge even Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali as a working title. Salman had announced the title back in 2020. He hoped to release the movie in 2021 but the shooting and release got delayed due to COVID-19.

“We never had any working title, and Bhaijaan was also not considered. Once we decided on the title, we didn’t change it,” Farhad said on the other hand.

He also spoke about the long title(s). Farhad said that while one-word titles are more appealing, there’s a reason for the film title, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. He believes that when people watch the movie, they would understand why the title is apt.

Farhad came under the scanner after his directorial Bachchhan Paandey with Akshay Kumar tanked at the Box Office. Various reports stated that Salman ghost-directed the movie, apart from Farhad.

Farhad Samji is also touted to direct Hera Pheri 3. Netizens are not too pleased with the news and have started trolling him for the same.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan stars Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The film also stars Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, Bhagyashree, Sooraj Pancholi, Karan Kapoor, Aasif Sheikh, Abdu Rozik, Amrita Puri, Rohini Hattangadi, Himanshi Khurana and Asim Riaz in pivotal roles. The movie marks Shehnaaz’s debut in Bollywood.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will release in theatres on Eid. It is one of Salman’s most awaited films since the movie releases in theatres alone on Eid after four years.
