Hera Pheri 3 went on floors recently and has been kept under the wraps since. Various rumours suggested that Farhad Samji is directing the franchise film. Netizens were not too happy after hearing that and started trolling him. Now, the filmmaker has spoken up about the hate he received online.

Farhad was talking to DNA when he shared just how heartbroken he was to receive all the hate. The filmmaker wanted to discuss the matter deeply and he did.

“If I wanted to sound arrogant, I can say, 'jiska naam hota hai, wahi badnaam hota hai,” he started off. The filmmaker then pointed out that there is no official announcement about who is directing Hera Pheri 3 and yet, the hate was directed towards him.

Farhad says that if five people start trolling someone on the internet today, the rest join in. He does point out it is the same with even praises. However, he emphasizes, that eventually they are faceless trolls.

“Bheed ka koi karam ya dharam nahi hai,” he adds and then states that he is open to feedback in real life. Whether he takes the feedback or not, though, is a different matter.

Farhad stresses that he has not signed the project and thus, has no clue where all the hate is coming from. It amuses him that people are simply following what they see rather than analyzing the whole situation.

“Film line mein ya toh aap jeetoge ya sikhoge, haroge nahi,” he shared. The filmmaker promises to learn, rectify and get better if the audiences don’t like his jokes.

Farhad points out how many directors have seen struggle before success. He shares that most of them have nearly two flop films and then learnt. The filmmaker also stresses on the point that the flops do not determine their talent or decision-making skills.

Citing the example of how Sachin Tendulkar doesn’t score a perfect six in every match, he adds, “We are not Gods. Ho jaata hai yaar.”

“The road to success is always under construction. So hum sab apni mehnat kar rahe hai (we all work hard),” the director signed off.

He has helmed Salman Khan's upcoming film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The movie will release in theatres on Eid this year.
