A few hours ago, Karan Johar took to social media and announced an untitled film that stars Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk, and Triptii Dimri. The film is being directed by Anand Tiwari. Karan Johar took to social media and posted the announcement stating, “A film that is exceptionally close to my heart for various reasons….@bindraamritpal (the producer and family to me) has not only grown to be such a force of content and talent but I’m proud of how he has created a company of warmth and creativity. A company that puts goodwill over any commerciality. @anandntiwari, his partner and director of our film is the funniest guy in town with a golden heart! His film reflects both in absolute abundance”.

He continued stating, “I’m so thrilled to collaborate with @vickykaushal09 , who I not only admire immensely as an artist but also as a human being of dignity and strength! I can’t wait to direct him one day again soon…We had such a blast in Lust Stories!!! @ammyvirk is a powerhouse of energy and artistry in equal measure! Love him and his sheer aura and vibe! And my darling @tripti_dimri who is in a commercial avatar for the first time. Her gorgeousness & presence has enhanced her every beat in the film! No sooner did he post the announcement, fans started reacting in a mixed fashion. One user took to comments section and wrote “No one knows tripti..should have gotten shraddha opposite Vicky..”. There was another user who wrote telling Karan Johar that, “you write “a film that is so close to my heart” for every movie. how vast is your heart???? Isn’t it filled already???”

There was another netizen who asked Karan Johar about the promotions of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, by saying, “#RRKPK ka promotion karoge ya ghar bethe bas reel hi repost karte rhoge?. A user by the name of Akshit Gautam wrote, “Bro if want to get a hit film then stop taking Vicky Kaushal and Ranveer Singh in your movies”. This was followed by a netizen who tagged Vicky Kaushal and wrote, “can't wait to see your character in this film all the best”.

Amidst all this, there was a netizen who remined everyone of Tripti Dimri’s first film. The user wrote, “First commercial avatar for @tripti_dimri ? Have we forgotten Laila Majnu?”
