Sterling K. Brown in Black Panther.

Black Panther, which starred the late actor Chadwick Boseman in the lead role, is one of the highest grossing films in the MCU. Thus, almost immediately after the film was released, the makers started planning a sequel to the movie.

Since Black Panther 2 is back in the news, fans cannot wait to see This Is Us actor Sterling K. Brown in it too. Reacting to the news, Sterling took to Twitter and shared that he would be honoured to be a part of the project. “Some 'Black Panther' Fans Want Sterling K. Brown Back in the MCU… If there’s a way, I would be honored. #WakandaForever,” he shared.

Check it out here:

Sterling played the role of Black Panther T’Challa (Chadwick)’s uncle N’Jobu. T’Challa’s father T’Chaka (John Kani) had killed N’Jobu in the film. However, Sterling’s fans on Reddit have demanded to see the actor back in the sequel. They are convinced that Marvel could create a different timeline and bring N’Jobu back.

The Marvel comics suggest that T’Challa’s sister Shuri (played by Letitia Wright in the franchise) becomes the new ‘Black Panther’ and the leader of Wakanda.

Speculations are also rife that Black Panther is likely to come back as a TV series. Apparently, the Disney+Hotstar series would revolve around the kingdom of Wakanda.

If reports doing the rounds are anything to go by, Black Panther co-writer and director Ryan Coogler will be working on both the sequel as well as the TV series.

It is still unclear whether Sterling will be a part of the film or the show, if he is ever brought back to life. Meanwhile, the actor is going to bid goodbye to This Is Us in 2022 as the widely-loved show comes to an end.
