The promotions of Vijay Deverakonda's Family Star are going on at a brisk pace as the Telugu film is set to hit the big screens on April 5, 2024. After the first song, Nandanandanaa, became a huge hit the makers released the second single, Kalyani Vaccha Vaccha yesterday, but the song has evoked mixed reactions.

Though most of the audience seemed to have liked the song, a few were not impressed with the wedding anthem. Gopi Sundar has composed this number. Some fans felt that the song is just an okay number.

Not just the music, but even the dance steps of Vijay Deverakonda failed to impress the fans, with some trolling the dancing skills of the popular actor. Some fans also pointed out that Family Star is the story of a middle-class man but the song showcases rich visuals and that this looks weird.

But most of them liked Mrunal Thakur and Vijay's sizzling chemistry in the film. Both Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Deverakonda are currently trending, thanks to Kalyani Vaccha Vaccha which is slowly but steadily going viral. This is the first time the popular stars have been paired opposite each other and there is a solid buzz for this film.

Parasuram, who gave Vijay Deverakonda's biggest hit with Geetha Govindam, is also directing Family Star.

The teaser showcased Vijay Deverakonda in an aggressive avatar. Dil Raju is producing this film, which is yet to wrap up its shoot. The family drama has been in the making for two years now and is finally being released this month.

Family Star is about a man, who goes all out for his family, and how the dynamics change with the arrival of his wife, played by Mrunal Thakur.

Family Star had earlier made headlines when its first teaser was released. A dialogue from the teaser, Irone Vanchala Yenti, was trolled on social media brutally.
