Family Star actor Vijay Deverakonda locks his next two projects with young directors | Details inside

Vijay Deverakonda is busy with the finishing touches to his new film, Family Star, which is up for release on April 5. Although there have been doubts about the release date, the makers have confirmed it through a new poster. A newly launched song, Kalyani Vaccha Vaccha, has been trending on social media, adding to the buzz for the film.
On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda has set eyes on his new films already. After the release of Family Star, he will start shooting for his cop drama in the direction of Gowtam Tinnanuri of Jersey fame. Now, we at OTTplay have come to know that Vijay Deverakonda has signed two other projects.

He has okayed a film each with directors Rahul Sankrytan of Taxiwala fame and Ravi Kumar Kola, who last made Raja Varu Rani Garu with Kiran Abbavaram. Both of these projects have been sealed and will go on floors in 2025.
Vijay Deverakonda has been taking time to announce projects ever since his film Liger bombed at the box office. His last film, Kushi, co-starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, did fairly well at the box office and brought back ijay back into the game.
The Arjun Reddy actor plays a family man with a load of responsibilities in Family Star. The teaser showcased him in an aggressive avatar and was loved by his fans. Mrunal Thakur plays the female lead in this film and her chemistry with Vijay is striking, as shown in the songs.
Parasuram directs this film, which has been produced by Dil Raju. Gopi Sundar has composed the music for Famil Star and both of the songs released have become big hits. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
