Nevertheless, to make his fans less worried, Smith has recently appeared at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. While talking to the paparazzi at the red carpet, Will confirmed his next film with Michael B. Jordan, which is I Am Legend 2 on December 2, 2023.
The actor, who had once aspired to become a scientist due to his innate curiosity and love for solving puzzles, made fun of himself and said. "I adore puzzles and challenges. So, I decided to create my own problems. Life is becoming too easy."
About I Am Legend sequel
Smith hinted at a sequel to his 2007 post-apocalyptic thriller - I Am Legend at the red carpet. He revealed that he has an upcoming call with actor Michael B. Will Smith recalls his past
While recalling his past, Will admitted that he made a lot of mistakes, and shared how Quincy Jones has always been by his side, trusted him, and made himself available at any time, “Quincy has always made himself available. He wants me to win as a human. He is devoted to me as a human, not just as an artist.”
The 55-year-old actor also revealed some harsh truths about the entertainment industry, and how it fully engulfs a person, and turns him into a monster. “Fame is a unique monster. You can’t get too excited when people say good things about you. I have to be clear about who I am and what I am attempting to do in the world. And I don't need others to applaud for me to stay focused on my mission. I want you to feel good. And at the same time, I am deeply human. And I am in the process of perfecting my virtue”, Will shared.
