Fahadh Faasil, the Malayalam actor has always looked for diverse roles in his career. The actor who has been doing serious roles recently has decided to try a light-hearted entertainer through Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira. The romantic comedy, helmed by Njandukalude Naatil Oridavela director, Althaf Salim is expected to go on floors in November.
Fahadh had earlier shared his plans about shooting Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira, in an exclusive chat with OTTplay. He said that he would join the sets of Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira by November this year and added that the film will be released only after Aavesham, his upcoming campus film.
Althaf also got candid about his second directorial in a previous interview with OTTplay. According to the director, the movie will be Fahadh's first proper rom-com and is told entirely through humour. He also said that the film is devoid of any dark elements and will be appealing to a family audience.
Meanwhile, Fahadh's Aavesham initially planned as a Christmas release is expected to hit theatres on January 2024. Aavesham, helmed by Romancham director, Jithu Madhavan is an action comedy entertainer, in which Fahadh plays the character of a goon. Fahadh is also co-producing the movie with Nazriya Nazim and Anwar Rasheed.
The actor has finished his portions of the much-awaited sequel of Pushpa: The Rise. The sequel will have more combinations of Fahadh's Bhanwar Singh Shekhawath IPS and Allu Arjun's character. Fahadh was reportedly paid an amount of six crores to play the antagonist character in the film. His previous film to hit theatres was the Tamil film Maamannan, in which he played a casteist politician.
