The movie, which is set for a December 2022 release, is directed by Akhil Sathyan
The first look of poster of Fahadh Faasil's Pachuvum Athbhuthavilakkum, which was released recently, would remind a lot of audience about the actor's hugely popular role in Anil Radhakrishnan Menon's North 24 Kaatham, which had his character being involved in an unexpected journey.
While Pachuvum Athbhuthavilakkum is made on a much bigger canvas, it does hint that it will have a lot of travel involved for its character, with Fahadh seen carrying a lot of bags and heading out in a rush.
The movie marks the debut directorial of Akhil Sathyan, son of veteran filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad. Touted to be an entertainer, the movie has Kerala, Mumbai and Goa as its main locations. The team has already shot most of the movie and concluded its latest schedule earlier this year. Pachuvum Athbhuthavilakkum has Fahadh essaying the role of a Mumbai-based youth who travels to Kerala and in his journey becomes a connecting link between an elder woman and a girl.
The movie marks Fahadh's return to the feel-good genre after a while. The movie was set to go on floors just before the pandemic, however, due to the extensive travel and locations outside the State, it was postponed by almost two years. As per reports, the film is expected to release in December 2022 and will be Fahadh’s second Malayalam theatrical release since the pandemic.
The actor is next gearing up for the release of Sajimon Prabhakar’s survival thriller Malayankunju, which is scripted by Mahesh Narayanan. The movie revolves around a rural youth, who gets trapped in a landslide. Also starring Rajisha Vijayan and Indrans, the film has music composed by AR Rahman and is produced by Fahadh’s father and veteran filmmaker Fazil. The movie, which was initially announced as a February 2022 theatrical release, is currently set to hit theatres worldwide on July 22.
