Fahadh Faasil is currently shooting for Romancham director Jithu Madhavan’s Aavesham in Bengaluru
Despite his latest film Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum releasing last week, Fahadh Faasil was conspicuous by his absence, especially during the promotions of the Akhil Sathyan directorial. The film, which has received largely positive reviews, marked Fahadh’s return to the family entertainer genre for a while, and has been one of the decent grossers in the recent times in the Malayalam box office.
Before the release of the movie, there were rumours that the team of Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum had issues with the actor, with him delaying his shoot due to his other language-commitments such as Vikram and Pushpa. FEFKA, however, clarified that they didn’t receive any complaints on this matter.
In fact, the film’s director Akhil Sathyan had exclusively told OTTplay that the actor is currently shooting for Romancham director Jithu Madhavan’s movie, which is tentatively titled Aavesham, in Bengaluru.
Now, the actor’s look from the movie has been leaked online, which confirms that his get-up is the reason that Fahadh didn’t turn up for promotional interviews ahead of the Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum’s release. Fahadh was spotted in a gritty avatar, with a thick handlebar moustache and all-white attire – resembling a gangster in Karnataka.
The movie, which is also backed by Anwar Rasheed, Fahadh and Nazriya, is touted to revolve around a campus. However, there has not been an official confirmation regarding this. Fahadh is also scheduled to complete his portions for Pushpa 2 and begin shooting for Hanuman Gear and Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira later this year.
Meanwhile, Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum has grossed close to Rs 6 crores from box office after its opening week. With 2018 getting good reports, the Jude Anthany Joseph film is expected to lead the Kerala box office this week, with Ponniyin Selvan 2 and Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum set to follow. The two Malayalam movies are also expected to get a good run this weekend.
