Karan Johar has never shied away from his fondness for matchmaking. The filmmaker seemed to be at it yet again on Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives. He attempted to start a romance between rapper Badshah and fashion designer Seema Kiran Sajdeh during one of the episodes by setting them up on a blind date at his house.
When Badshah reached the ‘date’, Seema seemed to have been left in shock. She remarked, “When Badshah walked in, I had a whole thing prepared of what I was going to say to him. But yes, I was struck as f**k.”
After Seema displaying her new clothing line to Badshah, the latter was eager to learn why she had altered her approach. Karan made a suggestion that the main cause of Seema's attitude shift was the end of her relationship with Sohail Khan.
Seema's new apparel line pleased Badshah very much, who enquired as to when he can place a pre-order. Moreover, he expressed his admiration for the line. Later, Karan changed the subject to Seema's romantic life and added,“The other thing we are also trying to find besides perspective, is also a man.” He continued by saying that Seema is his latest project.
Badshah offered her some suggestions and remarked, “I would like it if you just follow your passion. And if anybody has the same vision they can join the party as well.” The show also revealed that Seema might bring Badshah along for the vow renewals event between Bhavana Pandey and Chunky Panday.
For the uninitiated, Seema and her ex-husband Sohail Khan separated in May after spending 24 years together. Sohail and Seema got married in the presence of family members in 1998. The couple welcomed their first son, Nirvan, in the year 2000, and their second son, Yohan, was born in 2011 via surrogate.
On the other hand, the first season of Netflix's Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives premiered in 2020. The show centres around Seema, Sanjay Kapoor's wife Maheep, Chunky Panday's wife Bhavna Panday, and Sameer Soni's wife Neelam Kothari. The show has returned for a second season, which is currently available on Netflix.
