Producer Dil Raju, director Anil Ravipudi and Sunaina starred in the promotional video
Seems like the liberal permissions from the governments of Telugu states to raise ticket prices for every alternate Telugu film have hit the producers and distributors hard. Many industry experts, over the last weeks, have raised concerns that the escalated ticket prices have dented audience’s enthusiasm to hit theatres and the huge drops in collections for films after the first weekend have validated the same.
Leading producer Dil Raju, whose F3 hits theatres next week, has grasped the trend, played it smart and announced that the film’s tickets would be sold at regular prices. Earlier today, the production house of F3, Sri Venkateswara Creations even released a special video featuring Dil Raju, director Anil Ravipudi and digital show host Sunaina to confirm the news.
In the video, Dil Raju asks Anil Ravipudi to move beyond F3 and narrate any other exciting script that he has in mind for his next. Just when Anil begins his narration, Sunaina a.k.a Naga Ratthamma arrives at the office along with a group of women, much to the shock of the producer and director. They are further bewildered when she enquires them if she could acquire the distribution rights for F3 in any of the regions.
Dil Raju tells Sunaina that they’ve already sold F3’s rights across all regions and her proposal can’t work out. The latter tries to convince that she and her friends have enough money to distribute the film though the producer turns down the idea. On a final note, Sunaina requests the producer to confirm if the film’s tickets would be sold at regular prices and the latter responds in the affirmative. Sunaina appears overjoyed.
On a parting note, Sunaina tries to suggest viewers that it was she, who put forward the idea to reduce ticket prices for F3. The makers of the film have made Sunaina’s Naga Ratthamma a constant feature in their promotional videos since the last few months.
F3 stars Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah Bhatia, Mehreen Pirzada, Rajendra Prasad, Sunil, Sonal Chauhan, Pooja Hegde (special appearance), Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore in key roles. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music while Sai Sriram has cranked the camera. Tammiraju has edited the comic caper. F3 hits theatres on May 27.
