Directed by Anil Ravipudi, F3 also stars Varun Tej, Sonal Chauhan Mehreen Pirzada and Tamannaah Bhatia
F3, the sequel to director Anil Ravipudi's F2: Fun and Frustration, starring Varun Tej, Venkatesh, Mehreen Pirzada and Tamannaah Bhatia, hits theatres on May 27. Dil Raju presents the film bankrolled by Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations. Sonal Chauhan, Sunil, Ali, Thulasi and others are the latest additions to the comedy franchise's second part. The trailer of the comic caper was unveiled earlier this week and the entire cast, crew of the film interacted with the media in Hyderabad on the same day.
At the event, Venkatesh shared that he was thrilled to notice the overwhelming response for the trailer and promised that it would entertain audiences much more than F2. After releasing two of his films, Narappa and Drushyam 2, on OTT recently, he expressed his happiness about having a theatrical release after nearly three years. F3 has a wonderful script and is a movie that can be savoured by the entire family, he added.
While F2 was like a practice match for the team, F3 is the main match, said Varun Tej, who added that the ball would go out of the stadium this time around. Varun Tej shared that a film like F3 would bring a smile on everyone's faces and believed that families would come to theatres in great numbers to watch it. The trailer only showed 1% of the film's comic quotient, there's double fun compared to F2, the Ghani star mentioned.
Anil Ravipudi conveyed his gratitude to audiences for receiving the F3 trailer well and expressed his confidence that the film would be more enjoyable than F2. Beyond fun and frustration, third F in the title is a reference to family, he said. The filmmaker stated he experienced great satisfaction in making audiences laugh in F2 and wanted to do it again with F3, while also hinting at the possibility of F4 (provided F3 does well in theatres). He added that the cast and crew did complete justice to their roles in F3 too.
Venkatesh is at the top of his game as an entertainer and his support for F3 was unforgettable, he said. Calling Varun Tej his brother, he was in praise of his comic timing and stated that there would be a surprise element from Tamannaah and Sonal. The producer Shirish has reportedly watched the film 20 times and still laughs as if he is watching it for the first time. Sai Sriram is the cinematographer and Tammiraju is the editor.
