Extra Ordinary Man is Nithin's latest release. Disney+ Hotstar has bagged the OTT rights to the film which will be out on January 19, 2024.
Extra Ordinary Man was a keenly awaited Telugu film as Nithin was making a comeback after a long gap. The commercial drama is directed by Vakkantam Vamsi, who last made Na Peru Sruyaa with Allu Arjun that ended as a massive flop at the box office. Extra Ordinary Man had to click as Nithin did not score a proper hit in the last few years. Well, the film was released on December 8, 2024, and was removed from theatres in its first week. Disney+ Hotstar has bagged the OTT rights to the film, as we have already reported.

Now, we have come to know that Extra Ordinary Man will stream from January 19, 2024, onwards. “There’s nothing ordinary about this man - he’s a combination of crazy, mad, and EXTRA funny! Are you ready for the extraordinary man? #ExtraOrdinaryManonHotstar from Jan 19, 2024,” Disney+ Hotstar shared on social media.
Extra Ordinary Man is also special as a popular hero, Rajasekhar was seen in a key role in the film. Nithin's home banner Shrestha Movies LLP has produced this film which has music by Harris Jayraj. The music drew flack as it did not impress many.
Sreeleela is cast as the heroine in this film and she pinned a lot of hopes on this film as her last two projects Aadikeshava and Skanda ended as massive flops at the box office. But sadly, this film also ended as a massive flop and was out from theatres in its first week itself.
Extra Ordinary Man was an acid test for director Vakkantam Vamsi as he needed to prove a point with his direction. But unfortunately, the film ended as a flop at the box office and put both Nithin and Vakkantam Vamsi on the back foot. It will be tough for Vamsi to find a new project any time soon.
The supporting cast also comprises Annapurnamma, Pavitra Naresh, Ravi Varma, Hyper Aadhi, Venkatesh Mummidi, Jagadeesh, Soniya Singh, Satyasri, Hari Teja, Shrikant Iyenger, Rupa Lakshmi, Prudhvi, Shiva Ramachandravarapu, Sahithi, Satya Krishnan and Pradeep. Arthur A Wilson ISC, Yuvraj J and Sai Sriram are the cinematographers, while Prawin Pudi is the editor.
