Exclusive - Vijay Deverakonda to team up with THIS young Tollywood director, details inside

Vijay Deverakonda will team up with a young director who is one film old in Telugu cinema. The film has been locked and will go on floors by the end of 2024.

Vijay Deverakonda is busy with multiple films and is now shooting for his new film Family Star. The family drama is all set to hit the screens on April 5, 2024. Dil Raju is producing this film which has Mrunal Thakur as the heroine. The film is almost done with its shoot.

Vijay Deverakonda signs a new Telugu film

Now, we have come to know that Vijay Devarakonda has signed a film with Ravi Kiran Kola, the director who made Raja Vaaru Raani Gaaru with Kiran Abbavaram as the main lead. We have come to know that Ravi Kiran narrated the script to Vijay a few days ago, and the star loved the story and okayed the film right away.

We have also come to know that Dil Raju, who is producing Vijay's Family Star will also be helming this film. Touted to be a romantic action drama, this film will go on floors by the end of this year once Vijay wraps up his film with Gowtam Tinnanuri. The film is a cop drama and has been waiting to go on floors for the longest time.

Vijay Deverakonda's upcoming films

Apart from these films, Vijay is also in talks with a few directors from the Tamil and Kannada cinema. Post the failure of Liger, he does not want to take risks and is signing films very carefully. Vijay is known for his romantic dramas and most of his upcoming films are in that genre.

On the other hand, Vijay is now concentrating on Family Star which showcases him in a very simple role. The chemistry between Vijay and Mrunal Thakur looks sizzling in the songs and there is a solid buzz for this film as Vijay has teamed up with Mrunal Thakur for the first time and the film is being directed by Parasuram, who gave Vijay Deverakonda the biggest hit of his career in the form of Geetha Govindam.
