Thrilled with the response he got for the show and his role, we have exclusively learned that Naga Chaitanya is all set to greenlight two more projects next year. One of the sources close to the actor tells us that Chay asked his team to bring him more stories that would be made for the OTT space.

He has already started listening to a few scripts and the news is that a young director has already approached Chay for a project that will be in the digital space.
Naga Chaitanya played a media baron in Dhootha and his character had negative shades. The way Chay stepped outside of his comfort zone has been well-received by his followers and audience as a whole. That is the reason he wants to do more roles that are dark and give him scope to perform.
In all his previous interviews in the last year or so, Chay has always spoken about working in the digital space and Dhootha gave me the courage to try new genres in the OTT space, says Naga Chaitanya
As of now, Chay is shooting for the biggest film of his career, Thandel. The village drama is being directed by Karthikeya 2 fame Chandoo Mondeti and Chay will be seen as a gritty fisherman in the film. Sai Pallavi will be seen as his love interest in this film which is being bankrolled by Allu Aravind on GA 2 Pictures.
The shooting of the film is underway in Udipi as of now. For now, Chay is keenly looking for scripts that he can work on in the digital space and we need to see which director he will choose next for his second OTT outing.
