Another young actor is getting ready to test waters in the film industry. Leading producer, distributor Dil Raju is introducing his nephew Ashish (son of Raju's brother and collaborator Shirish) as an actor with a campus drama directed by Hushaaru filmmaker Sree Harsha Konuganti. The film has been titled Rowdy Boys and the makers, Sri Venkateswara Creations and Aditya Music, released the first look and the motion poster of the film earlier today. Anupama Parameswaran plays the leading lady in Rowdy Boys, whose filming commenced in 2020. Devi Sri Prasad has composed music for the film.

The first look of Rowdy Boys has Ashish wearing a grey-coloured vest, sporting a tattoo and is also seen excitedly holding a handycam. Ashish looks confident, camera friendly in the same. The motion poster of the film is set to Devi Sri Prasad's racy background with a group of students running in a campus, with the focus of the poster later shifting to Ashish in a toned, shirtless avatar. Anupama Parameswaran is conspicuous by her absence in the first look and motion poster though.

"The makers, from the beginning, have been very particular to give a grand launch to Ashish and left no stone unturned for Rowdy Boys. The film was made on a lavish budget and immense care was taken to project Ashish's strengths on the screen. From roping in big names like actress Anupama Parameswaran to composer Devi Sri Prasad and cinematographer Madhi, Rowdy Boys has a strong team in place," a source exclusively confirmed to OTTplay. Zee5 has bagged the streaming rights of Rowdy Boys. The film is slated to hit theatres this October.
