The movie, which also has Sreenivasan and Vijay Babu, is currently is in its post-production phase
After the success of the sports-drama Kho Kho, director Rahul Riji Nair and Rajisha Vijayan have reunited for a revenge thriller titled Keedam, which is currently in its post-production phase. The team recently revealed its first look poster, featuring Rajisha, Sreenivasan and Vijay Babu.
Talking to OTTplay about the movie, Rahul says, “Keedam is a thriller. The movie is relevant because it also deals with subjects such as stalking and the limitations of law. But I can’t reveal much because that would spoil the suspense.”
On the roles essayed by the lead actors, the filmmaker says, “Rajisha’s character Radhika works as a cyber-security professional in her own start-up venture. Sreenivasan sir plays her father named Balan and will be seen in a full-length role after a long time. Vijay Babu will be seen as a police officer in the movie, which also has Marimayam fame Manikandan Pattambi in a major role.”
The team has already completed the shoot of the movie. “We shot it entirely in Kochi. We had about three weeks of night schedule, from 6pm to 6am, and all of that was shot outdoors. We are currently busy with its dubbing and are hoping to release it by May in theatres,” says the filmmaker.
Rajisha, meanwhile, will next be seen in Archana 31 Not Out director Akhil Anilkumar’s segment Geethu Unchained in the anthology Freedom Fight, which will release on Sony LIV on February 4. The actress is also part of Ajai Vasudev’s Pakalum Pathiravum, which is based on NN Pillai’s play Dam and has Kunchacko Boban as the male protagonist.
The actress will also be seen in Praghesh Sukumaran’s campus entertainer Lovefully Yours Veda, which has Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sreenath Bhasi and Venkitesh as part of the cast.
