Exclusive - Puri Jagan-Ram Pothineni's Double Ismart facing financial disputes, shoots canceled, release delayed - Here's the clarity

Puri Jagan has teamed up with Ram Pothineni for Double Ismart. News has come out that the film is facing a financial dispute and may not be released on time.

Puri Jagan is a star director and has given life to so many stars in the industry. He gave a massive flop with Liger which ended in losses. A few distributors in Telugu states lost a lot of money on the Vijay Deverakonda starrer and vouched they would never work with Puri Jagan again.

On the other hand, Puri Jagan is not paying any heed to all this and is busy shooting for his new film 'Double Ismart' with Ram Pothineni which also has Sanjay Dutt in a negative role. Just a few days ago, we at OTTplay revealed that Puri Jagan has spent a whopping 7 crore just for the climax of the film.

This news went viral and now things have caught on a negative note about the film. The news going around in film circles states that Double Ismart is facing massive financial losses and will not be released as per the announced time in March. The word is that the shoots are getting canceled due to financial issues and not many buyers are coming forward to buy the theatrical rights of the film in Telugu states.

But we have come to know from one of the sources of the camp that all this news going around is false and the shoot is happening at a brisk pace. The delay in the shoot is happening due to the dates of Sanjay Dutt states the source. Charmee is the co-producer and she handles the production effectively.
