Exclusive! Munawar Faruqui recommends his fans to watch just one show on OTT and most will agree with him

The show Munawar wants his fans to watch is one of the most loved shows on Netflix.

Munawar Faruqui won Kangana Ranaut’s show Lock Upp and with it, a lot of fans. People loved him for his honesty and ways of turning serious situations into comedy. Thus, when he talks about shows he wants people to watch on OTT, expect it to be full of fun too.

We spoke to this stand-up comedian and asked him to recommend at least five shows to his fans. However, he did recommend just one and that is something all his fans are likely to love.

“Sab jaakar Brooklyn Nine-Nine dekho. Bahut funny hai,” Munawar told us.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is one of the most successful Television series from the US. This show has comedy in just the right amount and has successfully completed eight seasons on TV.

Currently, Netflix has streamed seven seasons of the show across the world. The eight season, which is also the last, consists of 10 episodes.

There is no confirmed date on when the eight season will start streaming on Netflix but it is expected to release by the year end or early next year.

The show came a long way from Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero) being each other’s competitors at work to becoming parents together. While the show does focus on them, it also has other important characters who work at the 99 police force. They include Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz), Terry (Terry Crews), Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio), Captain Ray Holt (Andre Braughter) and Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti).

Gina had left the show and police force mid-way since her character became an online celebrity which was not connected or limited to the police force any longer. However, the fans are up for a surprise as she comes back for the grand finale, where all the characters unite.
