Ritabhari works closely with dialogue writer Sumit Aroraa
Jawan Tsunami continues with making and breaking new box office records every day. As per Red Chillies Entertainment, the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Atlee film has already bagged Rs 621.12 cr as worldwide gross box office. On Wednesday, the team dropped yet another promo clip with SRK setting the screen on fire with an intense voiceover. Our very own Ritabhari Chakraborty has a direct connection with it. Here is how the actress is connected.

Ritabhari works closely with dialogue writer Sumit Aroraa. One one day, as the duo got busy with their work, Sumit Arora got a call from Shah Rukh Khan. “He asked Sumit to write the promo. Sumit was exhausted and stressed out. Hence, I volunteered to brainstorm with him. SRK briefed it again and instantly I started suggesting lines and this poem germinated,” the actress recalled.

Talking about the piece, Ritabhari said, “This had to be a power-packed one. This had to reflect a more powerful Shah Rukh Khan. It needed to have that ‘baap effect’.” She further added that SRK liked it immediately. “Sumit told him the poem over the phone and he liked it. Meanwhile, I was furious. I asked how he could deny me the credit. This is when Shah Rukh Khan stepped into our conversation and assured me that no credit would be taken. He further said that I have a beautiful name and my name suggests that I am a writer. He called me 'beta'. I was fuming and just did not realise what just happened to me. SRK talked to me like he had known me for ages. I spoke with him as if I had known him for long. He is kind and spontaneous. It took some time to sink it. The next morning I realised that I spoke and worked with SRK.”
