Speculations are circulating regarding the OTT release date of the latest Malayalam blockbuster Manjummel Boys . Many have reported that the film will make its streaming debut on April 5 on Disney+Hotstar. However, that's not true.
When OTTplay contacted the makers of Manjummel Boys, they rubbished the reports. The producers confirmed that they are in no hurry to put the film on streaming. At the moment, the makers are busy completing the Telugu dub of the movie, with plans to release it in the Telugu states on April 6.

Given that all major upcoming Telugu releases have been delayed due to the impending Parliament elections, the producers of Manjummel Boys seem to have found an ample window to maximize the movie's box office potential.

The producers confirmed to OTTplay that they will only begin to plan the digital release for Manjummel Boys following the end of its theatrical run in the Telugu states. They revealed that by the second week of April, they might decide on the OTT release date of Manjummel Boys.
Manjummel Boys has exceeded all expectations and emerged as one of the biggest hits of 2024 so far. The film, made on a modest budget, has already raked in more than Rs 200 crore from its worldwide ticket sales. The movie's historic success was fueled by its ability to capture the imagination of audiences in Tamil Nadu.
Manjummel Boys earned more than Rs 50 crore, making it the biggest-ever Malayalam hit in the history of the Tamil Nadu box office. What's more intriguing is that the filmmakers didn't even have to dub it in Tamil to resonate with Tamil audiences.

With glowing reviews and a terrific box office run, Manjummel Boys may also receive a rousing welcome in the Telugu states. It's noteworthy that recently another Malayalam blockbuster, Premalu, received a very encouraging response from audiences in the Telugu states.
