The music sensation Bappi Da left us all today at the age of 92. The iconic singer-composer breathed his last at a Mumbai hospital following multiple health issues.

Born in the year 1952, Bappi Lahiri started his music career at a very young age and created a revolution in Bollywood's music industry with his unique style. A lot of celebrities shared their heartfelt note on social media sites and paid their tribute to the Disco King. Many Bollywood actors talked about how it's a huge loss for Indian cinema.

In an exclusive chat with OTTplay, Bollywood actor Bobby Deol shared his thoughts on the sudden demise of the gem of the Music Industry and mentioned that he was an unconventional kind of a music director. He further said, "He gave a new sound to the Hindi cinema. He created magic with his songs. He was so modern in his approach and has produced so many amazing songs.

The Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo actor also recalled his meeting with the veteran music director and said that he met with Bappi Lahiri Ji a couple of times. He further said, "Bappi Da was very sweet and very down to earth. He was very humble by his nature too."

Bobby also mentioned his on Lata Mangeshkar, who passed away earlier this year on February 6. "It's just really sad that we've lost two of the greatest icons. Lata Ji was amazing and there's no word to express about the legend and so is Bappi Da. In their own field, they were both just amazing," he added.
