Nandamuri Balakrishna is in no mood to slow down. Even at the age of 60 plus, he is doing back to back films as the main lead in his career. His last two films, Akhanda and Veera Simha Reddy have been huge hits at the box office. When it comes to remuneration, Balakrishna is considered as a producer friendly actor and only charges nominal amounts as his fee.

Prior to his hit film Akhanda, Balakrishna used to charge only 10 crores as his fee whereas young actors like Nani were getting over 15 crores. It is only after Akhanda, the star hero, hiked his fee and got fifteen crores for Veera Simha Reddy. Now that this film also went on to become a hit, Balakrishna has hiked his fee once again.

We have come to know exclusively that Balakrishna is being paid a whopping 25 crores as his fee for his upcoming film with Bobby. Sithara Entertainments is the production house behind this film and they have agreed to the star hero's demands and are paying him 25 cores.

Just a few years back, there was a time when none of Balakrishna's films were working at the box office. But Akhanda changed things for Balayya and now he is raring to go like never before.

As of now, he is busy shooting for his new film Bhagavath Kesari which is being directed by Anil Ravipudi. The first look teaser of the film was released a few days back and it impressed one and all. Balakrishna will be seen as Sreeleela's father in this film which also has Arjun Rampal as the main lead. Thaman scores the music and the film will be out this Dussehra, 2023.
