Exclusive! 8 A.M. Metro: Here's why Saiyami Kher feels that Gulshan Devaiah is the most secure co-star

The actress reveals why she developed a deep admiration for her co-star

Saiyami Kher is gearing up for the release of her feature film 8 A.M. Metro, in which she unites with her favourite co-star Gulshan Devaiah. In a special conversation with us, the actor revealed that Gulshan was one reason why she agreed to be a part of the film.

Speaking about her experience of working with Gulshan in 8 A.M. Metro, Saiyami told OTTplay, "I have admired Gulshan's work in Shaitan, A Death In The Gunj, and Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. He is amazing and versatile as an actor. We worked together on a short film that was part of the anthology Unpaused, but with 8 A.M. Metro, we got to do something meatier. Gulshan is a secure co-star who gives a lot to the actors around him. He allows everyone to shine. I remember that even when he did not have to be present in a scene, for instance, during my close-up shot, he would still be around to give me the queue so that I could get the right expression. These are small but very important things that add a lot to one's performance. I admire him as a co-star, and I learned a lot about the craft of acting from him."

Gulshan was last seen in the web series Dahaad alongside Sonakshi Sinha.

Set in Hyderabad, the story of 8 A.M. Metro revolves around two characters, Iravati (Saiyami) and Prateem (Gulshan).

The film is directed by Raj R and will release in theatres on May 19.
