ETV Win's Sopathulu trailer: An endearing drama about two kids who get separated in the Covid lockdown

ETV Win has been churning out originals one after the other in the last few months. The popular OTT platform is in the news as its new release, Committee Kurrollu has turned out to be a smash hit on OTT as well. The village drama has clocked over 50 million streaming minutes already.

Next in line is Sopthulu, a village drama based in a small village in the state of Telangana. Set during the COVID-19 period, the promo showcased two kids who are very close friends and they get separated due to the lockdown issues.

How their lives turn and how the duo miss each other and get caught up in their issues of life have been showcased in a very endearing manner. The setup is simple and has a Telangana backdrop which is quite native and makes the promo look rustic.

Sopathulu cast and crew details

Ananth Vardhan has written and directed Sopathulu and some very new actors have done key roles in this film. Anji Mama, the famous Youtuber, plays a key role in this film which has been produced by Vinod Anantoju.

Sinjith Yerramalli composed the music for this film and the BGM used in the promo elevates the proceedings to another level. Sopthulu is a small film with a big heart. Only when you get connected to the characters, do you get engrossed in the narration.

Director Ananth has made sure that the performances given by the kids are top notch and the same is showcased in the promo. The emotions kids go through when they leave their friends, and their loneliness during the time of COVID-19, all this is addressed in this film, as per the trailer.

Sopathulu is going to be a slice-of-life drama with great performances. All those who like films with a big heart and simple setting can give this film a shot on ETV Win from September 19, 2024, onwards.
