As announced earlier, the team of Etharkkum Thunindhavan has unveiled its trailer through the Twitter handle of Sun Pictures, which is producing the movie. The two-minute video offers a sneak peek into the movie's story. Suriya, who plays Kannabiran, aspires to become a scientist, but he ends up as a lawyer because of a few reasons.
As a happy-go-lucky guy whose life revolves around father and mother, little did he expect that he would have to take on a dreaded womanizer who ill-treated many women who hails from the former's village. Vinay Rai plays the antagonist in the movie.
Priyanka Mohan essays the role of Aadhini, as Suriya's love interest in the film which also has Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, MS Bhaskar, Soori, Devadarshini and Pugazh among others playing key roles. Imman has composed music for the family drama which also is said to have ample dose of action.
Rathnavelu and Ruben have cranked the camera and edited the film respectively. Apart from Tamil, Etharkkum Thunindhavan will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi as well. Though the team's initial plan was to release the movie under the title ET in other languages, it looks like they have decided Evariki Thala Vanchadu as its Telugu title. Vijay Deverakonda has unveiled the Telugu trailer of the movie.
The project, which is set for a release on March 10, is Suriya's first theatrical release in the pandemic era. His last two outings, Soorarai Pottru and Jai Bhim, had direct releases on Amazon Prime Video.
The actor is expected to join Vetri Maaran's period flick Vaadivaasal soon, after which he will team up with a movie under Bala's direction. Meanwhile, his production venture, Oh My Dog, is likely to drop on Amazon Prime Video later this month.
