Etharkkum Thunindhavan: Suriya confirms being in talks with Bheeshma Parvam helmer for remake of Mammootty's film

The count down for Suriya's film, Etharkkum Thunindhavan has begun. The actor is currently awaiting the release of the action thriller on March 10 along with its dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. The promotions for the film are in full swing and during one such promotional event, Suriya revealed his plans to work with Amal Neerad, the director of Bheeshma Parvam, starring Mammootty.

The Soorarai Pottru actor confirmed that he was in talks with the director Amal Neerad. He had a meeting with him but couldn't get back to him later. He said Neerad had told him that he would like to do a remake of Mammootty's film but it's not yet been finalised. When asked by the media if he has seen the film, Bheeshma Parvam, he said he hasn't and wishes to go to a theatre to watch it soon. He added that he has seen the trailer of the film and finds it really interesting and a good watch. He also expressed his interest in working with the filmmaker and said he will get in touch with him soon to see how to take things forward.

Meanwhile, the actor is looking forward to seeing the reactions of audiences to his upcoming film, Etharkkum Thunindhavan. The film, directed and written by Pandiraj, also features Priyanka Arul Mohan, Vinay Rai, Sathyaraj and Rajkiran. The cinematography of the film is by R. Rathnavelu and edited by Ruben. The music is by D Imman. It is produced by Sun Pictures and will hit the theatres on March 10.
