Escaype Live: Plabita Borthakur was motivated by Swastika Mukherjee to perform better as a Fetish Girl in the series

Escaype Live is another anticipated series that is set to hit OTT soon. Alongside Siddharth, Jaaved Jaaferi and Shweta Tripathi, the social thriller also has Plabita Borthakur in a key role. The 29-year-old actress is essaying the character of a Fetish Girl. Talking about the show and her role, the actress mentioned that actress Swastika Mukherjee motivated her on the show.

The Hotstar original series is a fictional story that talks about the life of a bunch of content creators, who have only one goal - to produce the best content that can become viral and let them win a life-changing competition announced by a new entertainment app called Escaype Live.

Talking about her experience of working in the series and gaining the motivation to perform better, Plabita said in a recent statement that Swastika is a brilliant actor and her experience and her hold on her craft motivated young actors to perform better. She also added that the senior actor's experience made their scenes together feel effortless to her. "Swastika is amazing to work with. It was such a pleasure working with her, she really gives a lot to the co-actor to work with,” she added.

Plabita has been seen in multiple films and shows with some of the renowned actors in the industry. From Lipstick Under My Burkha alongside the veteran actress Ratna Pathak Shah to Pooja Bhatt, Shahana Goswami and Amruta Subhash starrer Bombay Begums, the actress has been seen essaying versatile roles in all her projects.

Penned by Jaya Mishra and Siddharth Kumar Tewary, the forthcoming series has been directed by the latter.

Escaype Live, which also stars Sumedh Mudgalkar, Waluscha D'Souza, Ritvik Sahore, Geetika Vidya Ohlyan, Jagjeet Sandhu, Rohit Chandel and child actor Aadyaa Sharma among others, is slated to release on Disney+ Hotstar on May 20.
