The Hero singer will be releasing his last album, 'Final (Vol 2)' by next year February. As the clock is ticking to the end of the year, the adrenaline rush is kicking in for fans worldwide. It’s been nearly two years since Vol 1 dropped.

Keeping his promise to conclude with the upcoming album collection, he revealed his plans to Today and said, 'I’ve been working on this album for quite a bunch of years. And for me it was always like I said, my final album… this is it. I don’t think — no, I know, I won't be doing any more albums.”

Enrique Iglesias’s career trajectory

The Grammy-award winner also disclosed that the album is almost ready to be unveiled, however, he wishes to shoot a few videos before it is slated for a release.

"It's finished. It's actually coming out in February. It’s completely finished. What I want to do is shoot one or two videos right before the second leg on the tour and launch it," the singer added.

Reportedly, this is not the first time the recording artist has discussed his last album, he had previously mentioned on a social media interaction that he has been thinking about the critical decision not for months but years as of now, as per reports in The Mercury.

But will all this mean he is retiring? Fans can sigh a breadth of relief as the artist is not packing it all in, instead, he will be making music but in a unique way. He will still be dropping singles.

Describing his plans and career trajectory, he said, "I'm never going to stop writing songs because I love writing songs, but I'm going to do it in a different way - meaning they don't necessarily have to be packaged as an album - so this project to me is important."

The singer-songwriter is currently on a music tour with Ricky Martin and Pitbull.
