Eminem in his new track Tobey has heaped praises on Sam Raimi-Tobey Maguire's Spidey era.
Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man Trilogy On Streaming
There is no one across the world who hasn't been bitten by the Spider-Man fan bug. You may not be a fan, but there is no way you are not a part of the pop culture phenomenon in some way or another. Tobey Maguire happens to be the Spidey people have loved immensely over the years, and to this day, he is often considered the best one out of the three we have seen so far (four if we count the animated Miles Morales). His return in Spider-Man: No Way Home has left a lingering taste, and fans clearly cannot wait to see him back on the big screen. Turns out he is back in the headlines, and no, not for Spider-Man 4 or his return, but because Eminem has decided to start fanboying over him. His new single "Tobey" brings the pop sensation back to the Spider-Verse.
Eminem has announced the upcoming album The Death of Slim Shady not only leaving his fans excited but also attracting Tobey Maguire and Spider-Man fans to the frenzy. There is so much excitement in the air ever since Marshall Mathers unleashed his latest song on social media. The teaser has left Eminem's fans excited as the first live-action Spider-Man is getting love in the track. The rapper has mentioned the Sam Raimi era of the web-slinging superhero in his track. Meanwhile, this isn't the first time he is obsessing over a Marvel character.
The last time we saw him obsessing over a comic character, it was the Punisher. When The Punisher on Netflix was in danger, Slim Shady had to enter the arena to defend the show and the character. The internet went crazy over the row, and people were happy to see the rapper voice his opinion. Even Jason Moore, in an interview, thanked Eminem later.
We know the constant mention of the Sam Raimi era of Spider-Man has left you craving to watch the three films on streaming. This is where we come in. The Raimi era of the web-slinging superhero has been the most humane of them all. Peter Parker’s naive nature never came out as vulnerable as in the 2000s trilogy. There is a comforting vibe in those movies, and that is what makes them stand out.
In India, the three films starring Tobey Maguire, including Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004), and Spider-Man 3 (2007), are available on SonyLIV. The three movies are available with the same subscription on the platform. You can also watch the three films with your OTTplay Premium subscription. All three have been directed by Sam Raimi. It was recently said that there are possibilities that at some point the makers might think of reviving the franchise with Spider-Man 4. However, such rumors have been circulating for many years now and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Stay tuned to OTTplay for more information on this and everything else from the world of streaming and films.
