Kangana Ranaut is back on the sets of Emergency after recovering from dengue.
Emergency is Kangana Ranaut's second film to direct, and she is giving it everything she has. In the movie, she has been working nonstop. She really continued to work while having dengue a few weeks ago. She shared a taste of her directorial gig on Instagram on Friday. She threw down a series of pictures taken on the Emergency sets.
She can be seen in the first image describing a specific scene to her crew. The description for the photo said that the most fulfilling job in the world is to make cinema while being at Emergency shoot.
She can be seen showing off her "favourite directing pose" in another picture. She is pictured with her arms about her waist and her eyes fixed on the monitor. Alongside the photo, Kangana added, "And of course, my favourite directing pose."
The third image has the phrase, "Filmmaking, my first love." She is seen occupied in the photo talking with her staff about something.
Kangana portrays the late politician Indira Gandhi in the movie Emergency which centres on the life of the former prime minister.
When discussing her decision to take on the role of director for a second time, Kangana remarked that her debut directorial, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi received positive reviews from the public and was a box office success. Though she had a lot of acting work to finish, she refrained from attempting to direct another movie. The actor's interviews, remarks, and the terminology she developed, which are now part of popular culture, lead her to assume that she is in touch with the audience's pulse. Kangana does think that the public is seeking something that will engage their minds as well as their senses.
The movie also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, and Shreyas Talpade.
