Emergency box office collection day 5: Kangana Ranaut's political film opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. Despite that, the film got a decent opening at the box office. Emergency witnessed a surge in its collection on days two and three. However, it fell flat on the fourth day of its theatrical release. The film, which clashed with Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgan's Azaad, maintained a steady pace on day five. It earned more than Ram Charan and Kiara Advani's Game Changer (Hindi) version.

Kangana Ranaut's film, Emergency, opened at Rs 3.11 crore at the box office. After witnessing growth in its collection, the film saw a significant drop. It collected Rs 1 crore on the fourth day of its theatrical release. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film collected the same amount, Rs 1 crore, on the fifth day.

The film's day 5 collection is higher than Ram Charan's Game Changer (Hindi) day 11 collection. The S Shankar directorial's Hindi version minted Rs 40 lakh, while Game Changer's overall collection on day 11 was Rs 1 crore.

Shreyas Talpade on working with Kangana Ranaut

In an interview with Times Now, Shreyas Talpade shared his experience working with Kangana Ranaut in Emergency. The actor called her a 'fabulous actress' as she has proved it with most of her on-screen performances.

"It is always a pleasure and treat to share screen with someone who not only knows her job but also excels in the same. As a director, she completely surprised me because of the kind of homework and research that she had done, and the finesse with which she executed the whole thing, I have become a huge fan of her as a director as well after seeing the whole film," he said.
